MFC VOCAL FUNDRAISING CONCERT
Get ready for an uplifting afternoon of extraordinary live music at the MFC Vocal Contemporary Fundraising Concert! Featuring the brilliant Mia Sorella Trio, MFC vocalists, and special guests Diversity Dreamers Choir, this promises to be a vibrant celebration of contemporary vocal talent.
There will be a variety of genres including Pop, Rock, Music Theatre, Soul and R&B, and Gospel. With over 11 solo artists and the Choir, the performance will be jammed packed with inspiration and fun for all the family.

MFC VOCAL Classical Singers Masterclass
Join us for the MFC Vocal Classical Singers Masterclass, an inspiring day of vocal development, performance, and artistry led by acclaimed soprano and educator Michelle Francis Cook.

The masterclass will open with a focused teaching session by Michelle on the essentials of vocal projection and performance presence, offering singers practical tools to connect with both their voice and their audience.
Following this, each participating student will have the opportunity to perform their chosen concert aria or song for their colleagues and auditors, accompanied by the distinguished pianist Joyce Chahine. After each performance, Michelle will provide individualized masterclass coaching, guiding singers to refine their technique, interpretation, and expressive delivery in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This masterclass promises not only to enhance vocal and performance skills, but also to foster a spirit of shared learning, artistry, and inspiration among emerging classical singers.
Within the Masterclass we will break for a light lunch.
At the end we rehearse the ensemble piece, Inneggiamo il Signor from Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni with each singer practicing their parts.
